The NGC 6992 nebula, also called the "Pike," is an emission nebula located in the constellation Cygnus. It was discovered by William Herschel on September 5, 1784. This object is included in the original edition of the New General Catalogue. The nebula is part of the vast Veil Nebula, which is located on the eastern side.

Re-shot the Fishing Net or Pickering's Triangle NGC 6992. Equipment: ED 70/420 refractor, AGT mount, Canon 1000Da, unguided, UV/IR cut filter, 120”x23 exposures, ISO 400. Processed in DSS, Fitswork (black balance and histogram), Lightroom. Calibration frames available. Seems to have turned out better.

For your attention, I present the emission nebula known as the Fishnet or the Pickering's Triangle, NGC 6992. Equipment: ED 70 refractor, AGT mount, Canon 1100 Da, unguided, 60”x79, ISO 400, processed in DSS, FITs, Lightroom.
