Change Log
A little better, step by step. Here’s what’s new on DeepSkyHosting.
- Add coauthors to a photo. Shared photos appear on their profiles and in feeds, with everyone listed below the photo. New coauthors also get an email.
- Photo editing now has its own page, with suggestions as you type telescope, camera and mount names.
- The home page loads faster, shows 192 recent photos and always includes a popular photos section.
- Equipment filters now use one selection per group to keep browsing simple.
- Photo previews now have smoother hover animations.
- Emails now share a consistent design. New members receive a welcome email in their language.
- If you were signed in on the old site, your session can carry over to the new one.
- Added this change log so you can follow improvements in one place.
- Photo categories and publication dates now share one compact row on mobile, with a calendar icon beside the date.
- Temporarily hid the object chart on photo pages while we improve its design.
- Explore photos with zoom, dragging and fullscreen controls. Share a direct link to the viewer, load the original as you browse and jump to the author’s profile.
- Create, rename, reorder and delete albums with clearer controls.
- Introduced the refreshed DeepSkyHosting site, with a new foundation for future improvements.
