I really wanted to capture it, but after five hours, I want at least that much more. All those beautiful swirls in the center are certainly wonderful, but the periphery itself is what's interesting here. Even though it has such a beautiful name, it's a true cosmic devourer... The halo itself, which is barely visible here, consists of the remnants of galaxies that became its meal. I took more short 120-second frames to bring out detail in the center. Now I want to work on the halo itself. The nights have become noticeably shorter, though.
