Is this intentional or did they miss, and what are you controlling with NINA?

I didn't quite understand the question. If it's about composition, then positioning was done via the NINA Framing Wizard, which defines IC1396 that way. I didn't change the center position, although maybe I should have—the star in the center spoils the frame.
