A test of "what happens with no filter at all?" – and here's the answer. It's a mess due to halos.
Interestingly, I then went looking for an anti-light pollution filter that also had a built-in UV/IR cut and was suitable for fast optical systems.
And I didn't find one. There are triband or quad band filters.

Also, here you can see how bad a large APS-C sensor is on the RASA 8" (seems not too bad – it was predicted to be worse).

I deliberately didn't stretch this frame – there's nothing here to enhance. This is a technical version of "what happens if..."
