A very faint object for my light-polluted skies, and an extremely bright core — no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't pull anything out of the center; it's overexposed, and if I shoot with short exposures, nothing is visible at all. This probably needs lucky imaging. Anyway, I spent 3 nights on it and discarded the short exposures.

I have the same thing, Oleg. I couldn't pull anything out of the center—either overexposed or nothing—so I just gave up on it all((

But the shot is excellent!
