Opening of the new season 25\26.
Finally decided on monochrome, chose the most budget option,
Camera QHYCCD QHY5III585M
Filter wheel touptek, AFW, 8*1.25inch
Filters LRGB - ZWO first generation, now sold on Ali as just filters.
SHO - touptek 1.25, also very cheap.
The whole set cost about 52 rubles.
And so the first test, very bright....
M57 on LRGB, 10x30 sec each, total 20min.
Shot in HDR-correction mode QHY5III585/miniCAM8 If you install the latest drivers, this mode is selected in NINA as linear HDR. By default, gain 9 offset 100 is set and cannot be changed. My opinion is an interesting mode, but for very bright objects, like the Orion Nebula. Will have to try shooting in normal mode.
Definitely an interesting camera, paired with inexpensive filters and a wheel.
P.S. Instead of the 8th filter, I inserted a dark filter into the wheel, made from an old 1.25, just covered the glass. Darks are taken automatically after the telescope has parked and the lens is not pointing at the sky.
