With great help from Claude — interestingly, it insisted on pulling out the blue color around the field belt. It says, "There is still some H-alpha there, but it won't work for you. Along its edges are blue clumps of star formation."

Not that much blue appeared around the belt, though.

Okay, that's correct — that blue area is only on one side.
