A long time ago, someone on AstroBin captured and named this "The Question Mark." I liked the composition, but I didn't have anything to shoot it with — now I finally did. For the capture, I placed an aperture stop in front of the lens, resulting in an effective f-ratio of about f/2.9–3. The stars became much cleaner. I tried both the Laida 7nm and Optolong L-Ultimate 3nm filters; the latter won hands down, so I used it for the entire session. Even though it's said not to be ideal for fast systems, the effective f-ratio seems to make a difference.
