The previous night, I captured the classic minimum gain with 90-second exposures—60 frames. I started processing and realized I couldn't handle it yet; my computer wasn't up to the task, and I couldn't find a proper method—it was turning out messy. I set it aside for better times.
Yesterday, I tried shooting series of 10, 15, 30, 45, 60, and 120 seconds, with gain set to 1500 in LGG mode. Each series was about 3–5 minutes long (the comet doesn't move far in that time), guided on a star, and all shifts were removed. I stacked everything and found that the best result was 5×60 seconds. Processing done in PixInsight.
