First light with the new tube, mounted it as a second scope next to the 300mm refractor.
Both tubes now have 585 cameras—mono on the 300mm, color on this one.
The main scope captured this same object in close-up, with dithering and meridian flips, while this one just ran a sequence. Later, I had to discard frames with dithering and flips, leaving 149 out of 180, but it was still worth it—the light gathering is fantastic.
Stacked with drizzle -2.
Tomorrow I'll process and post the version from the 300mm, and then a combined image from both tubes.
The result of combining data from two telescopes, captured in a single night on the same mount, except for the hydrogen data, which was taken earlier on 04/03.
