Does any mount act up at the meridian, or is it only yours? It's just that when I was shooting this object, I also had a large number of rejects when it was in the +- meridian position.
I wouldn't say it's only mine in the sense that it doesn't pixelate now. Maybe because I switched to an off-axis guider. But even before that, it wasn't like this problem was always there. And my guide scope migrated either to the finder shoe or on the tube on a 2nd dovetail.
