Fun Facts !
The Veil Nebula, is a collection of hot gas and dust, the remnant of a supernova.

It was a bubble of expanding shock waves from a star that went supernova between 10,000 and 20,000 years ago.

The expanding gas from this explosion compressed hydrogen, oxygen and sulfur, causing the shock waves to form, and the colors you see here.
The bubble expanded over time to form a loop 6 degrees in diameter, making it a gigantic feature in the night sky.
