Thank you for sharing your photos - this is exactly what this project is all about! :-)
I played around with the channels on an old photo using Siril, removed the blue channel, duplicated the red channel with hydrogen (set it to R and G), and placed the green channel into B. The result seems to have turned out better. I made a mistake back then during shooting—I should have set the exposure to 3 seconds to avoid the trailing that's present now.
