It never rises higher than 15 degrees above the horizon at the latitude of Adygea, so I captured it over several nights. A barred spiral galaxy with intense star formation, located in the constellation Hydra. Distance is about 15 million light-years. Diameter is 115,000 light-years. Angular size is 12.9' x 11.5'.
