Calibration with darks and biases, 30 each. Tried a new plugin - Cosmic clarity, in my opinion it works poorly with stars, but still it greatly improves the image

Make an aperture mask for the mirror from a book cover. Simply cut out a ring that is 4-5mm smaller than the mirror's diameter, and you will be amazed at the improvement in star quality (it will eliminate stray rays around them).

Thanks, I'll give it a try. They annoy me too, but I couldn't find anything about it online.

Actually, I like the diffraction spikes for some reason. The Pleiades turned out very beautifully.

This is the effect of the main mirror mounting feet. You need a baffle on the primary mirror to cover them. They told you correctly =)

You've probably seen that set for sale on AliExpress—a full-metal spider, aperture, and rear cover for a mirror. I don't see much point in buying it, but I remember reading something about apertures on Cloudy Nights.
