Well, Affinity seems to have saved the situation quite well. Sure, there's still a boiling background, but this time I like the result much more. I think I'll leave it as is for now; in the future I might dig into it some more — after all, with 4 hours there's plenty of room to work with — but for now I'm satisfied with it as is. Actually, I tried to process it so the background wouldn't boil, and it even worked out, but the oxygen shell of the crescent shows poorly with that, so it is what it is.

Well, I planned to collect more, but it is what it is. Overall, I kind of like the processing, but also something seems to be missing, idk, I think in the futur…
If I ran it through nXt and bXt, it would be absolutely fire, judging by the fact that the material is good. Yesterday I reprocessed the crescent moon using these plugins, and I was even blown away by the difference — and oxygen shows up about twice as much.
Well, unfortunately, I'm a poor student with Pix 1.8 cracked, although it seems BXT, NXT, etc. already work without PixInsight

And I also want to learn to squeeze the maximum out of stacks myself
