Comments

Captions usually don't include calibration frames, so they don't count toward the actual integration time. And the last ones are biases, in that case.

Greetings. Yes, it is preferable. The total integration time allows one to assess the sky quality and the capabilities of the setup. You can shoot thousands of calibration frames, but the image itself won't improve from that, right? It is assumed that a sufficient number of calibration frames are taken.
