Actually, the guide scope is a bit smaller than the main tube, so it looks a bit unusual, but it's still within acceptable limits. I bought it a very long time ago, back when I didn't understand anything about astrophotography and thought bigger was better. But it works well with the Newtonian.

Then you still need to shoot it with an oxygen filter for many, many hours, preferably without the Moon.
