NGC 7293, the Helix Nebula

One of the closest planetary nebulae. It is located at a distance of 650 light-years. Its diameter is about 2.5 light-years. Its angular size is 12'x25'. This is what will remain of our solar system in the future. Planetary nebulae exist for about several tens of thousands of light-years, which makes them an amazing object in the universe. It is difficult to observe in the middle latitudes of Russia.

Hello, it seems out of focus, and the stars are showing trailing, so collimation is needed.

Hello! The focus seems fine, I checked, it's just a small overall accumulation, and the aperture is only f/7. But the collimation, yes, I'll get right on that. Clear skies!

I wish I could get at least 10 hours of integration, or better yet, all 20. Unfortunately, with such modest integration time, it doesn’t look good.

That's true, but at your latitude it at least rises above the horizon for some time. At my latitude, it's completely impossible to capture, and it's such a beautiful object.

I'm also from Moscow, but my father is from Adygea. However, even in Adygea (latitude 44), this object isn't very high in the sky. But the nebula itself is indeed very beautiful!
