NGC1365 is a barred spiral galaxy in the constellation Fornax. It is a member of the Fornax Cluster. The galaxy is located 74 million light-years away and spans about 300,000 light-years, including its spiral arms. It is classified as a Seyfert type 1 galaxy, featuring an active nucleus and ongoing star formation.

The image was captured during November and December 2025 from the Izabis astrohosting remote observatory in Namibia, under moonless nights.
