Sh2-132 is a large hydrogen nebula; this frame shows its central region along with the dark nebulae LDN 1161 and LDN 1163.
The imaging was done using a straightforward technique with RGB filters, without narrowband filters. Spectrophotometric correction was applied, so the nebula's color is as close to natural as possible.
