The Propeller Nebula (Propeller Nebula, DWB 111) is located in the constellation Cygnus at a distance of about 4,000 light-years from Earth. It is a diffuse emission nebula composed of ionized hydrogen and ions of other elements. It gets its name from its shape, which resembles the blades of a propeller.
