In this section of the Milky Way, covering an area of about 4×2.5 degrees in the constellation Vulpecula, you can see a pair of large dark nebulae that absorb the light of stars behind them—the Cane (at the top of the frame) and Nessie, or the Loch Ness Monster (below). The group of brighter white stars at the lower right is the open cluster NGC 6793. Around the bright star to the right and below the center of the frame, a small blue reflection nebula, vdB 126, is visible.
