Beautiful result! Was this really shot from a Bortle 8/9 zone? Is the chromatic aberration around the stars from the filter (Optolong L-Para) or the telescope (RASA)?

Thank you! Captured from St. Petersburg... white zone.. The chromatic aberration might have appeared due to processing; I'll need to revisit the stack.

My respects!

I think I'm struggling in a 5/6 zone with not a single power outlet, and then this happens.

I've noted your filters down on my list — an interesting experience!

Narrowband filters are almost like cheating) You can shoot with them even in the city during a full moon (or on a cloudy day))
There are also Antlia ALP-T Highspeed filters at 5 and 3 nm.

There are also Antlia ALP-T Highspeed filters at 5 nm. I shoot Ha with it. Everything I have of nebulae was captured through it.

> I shoot Ha through it. All of my nebulae images were taken through it. Great filter! Too bad it won't save you from the white nights.
