The central part of the galaxy was captured at the full focal length of the telescope (1057 mm), while the periphery was captured with a 0.7x reducer. Both images were then combined into a single picture using mosaic mode.

The galaxy's arms should be blue, not gray.

Calibrate your monitor, and they will turn blue :)
