Animation of the motion of comet 67P/Churyumov–Gerasimenko. The footage was captured during the New Year holidays on January 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 9, totaling 6 nights. Shot with a Nikon D5300 and a Tamron AF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di LD Macro lens (at 70mm) on a tripod. For each session, 200 frames at 5 seconds each were stacked, with ISO 5000 and f/4. Only for January 6, 176 frames were stacked due to many flawed shots. Calibration used 15 darks and 27 biases. Stacking was done in DSS, and processing in Photoshop.
