The Pinwheel Galaxy M 101.

The result is certainly not the best; after all, there was too little integration time for such a faint object, and on top of that, without calibration frames, DSS introduced a lot of noise and banding, so I had to work on it.

I don't think I'll return to it.

Crop of the frame.

Well, my respects. You managed to bring out the spiral arms quite well for this scale. But I think you won't be able to reveal much more without higher magnification and longer exposure per frame. Still, an excellent result for your conditions.

America also turned out quite well, by the way — I was able to bring out the Alpha and oxygen. But I understand that this is already an issue with the stack itself, since there’s that strange band on the right. Still, the result is good.

Thank you for the feedback. I agree about M101 — it needs more scale. And you're right about America regarding the band. Actually, I think I'll return to it to gather more data for a crop of the Wall and the Pelican.

Not a bad idea.
Eh, I wish I had at least clear skies — it's been cloudy for a month now, and I had so many plans to shoot.

I understand, I’ve had long rains myself, and now there’s only a month left for all the ideas ( so I’m thinking about what other objects to shoot, but I have no ideas.. I’m considering M16 for now, and I’m also planning a false SHO with it :)

I think it's a good idea.
Maybe when I have the means, I'll do something like that too.
