With my Samyang lens at f/2.2, 20 seconds, and ISO 1600, the image is severely overexposed—almost completely white. Does this depend on the level of light pollution in the area?
No, it shouldn't be overexposed, though it does depend on the light pollution zone! I shoot in blue and green zones and never set it below 800. It can range from 800 to 2000.
