Well, here is my modest result. Shot from the window, without tracking, during the full moon. Exposures of 3 seconds each. The stars, of course, trailed, so I used the star resynthesis tool. Additionally, I didn't shoot flats, and a dust speck on the sensor turned into a spot that landed right on the tail. I had to cut off 1/3 of it, alas.
