The Trifid Nebula (M 20, NGC 6514) is represented by three main types of nebulae: Emission - pink color. Reflection - blue color. Absorption - black color. It is located at a distance of 2000 to 9000 light-years. Size about 50 light-years. Apparent size 20 arcminutes.
