It's time for Galactic Season, so on the menu is this wonderful beauty, captured with the CHI-3-CCD instrument. For some reason, I couldn't do photometry when using the L channel, so I gave up and assembled it without L.
What do you mean? Take a photo? From Samara, it's only about 0.5 degrees above the horizon at most. You'd need to go somewhere farther south to catch it.
