I cropped it twice; three times seemed too much to me :)
I'm thinking of getting filters for experiments, as everything around here is lit up with LEDs within about 50-60 meters. Which ones would you recommend? I've been considering the SV240 from A Bony and the Askar C1 and C2. The camera is an ASI585.
Look, you shouldn't get the 240, because:
1. You have a refractor.
2. The 662 doesn't have a UV/IR filter.
3. The 240 lets in IR—check its range. It's only for reflectors, or you'd need to add another UV/IR filter.
That's why stars will look bloated.
Better to get the SV 220 or Laida, depending on which is cheaper at the moment. They were selling them on the forum recently for very little.
And you do stretch the stars separately, right?
I got a bit lazy here—I stretched it along with the image in the first stage, then only separated it, toned down the curves, and merged it back together.
