Back in October, I decided to create a large animation of the full solar disk in chromosphere, but the star was already low in the sky and relatively calm during the shoot — small flares and not very dynamic prominences didn't count. So I hesitated for a long time whether to post it or not.

However, after revisiting the material later, it seemed quite decent to me. Our beautiful Sun is teeming with details — wherever you look, there's some movement.

Animation of 177 stacks, changes on the Sun over 2.5 hours of real time. I had to slightly reduce the image size because the animation wouldn't load on the site at full resolution.
