I found out which crater it is: Aristarchus — the most mysterious crater on the Moon. Here are some features of this crater: It has a very complex floor structure. A variable flow of alpha particles (radon deposits) has been detected from it. Aristarchus holds the record for so-called transient lunar phenomena (TLP), which still have no explanation.
