Recently I got an ASI 120 camera and decided to shoot the Moon. Clear weather only comes around every two weeks for me, so despite the heavy haze, I decided to give it a try. And with just 70 mm of aperture (the full lunar disk only fit at 400 mm focal length on this telescope), it didn’t add much optimism. The only bright spot is that the second iteration of the mount tracks wonderfully. The result speaks for itself. When the weather cooperates, I’ll try making a panorama with my main aperture. And yes, no more pink Moon!
