180 / 30 - 5 min. 30 sec., how did you do such exposures on a Canon? The maximum automatically is 30 sec., the rest is "manual," but here precision is needed so that all frames are the same length.

Awesome! I've shot a maximum of 12 min.

Using an intervalometer or through ASIAir/PC, you can set any exposure time; they will simulate pressing the button for the bulb setting for the specified duration.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. I was only using the remote control, taking 30-second exposures.

A remote control for interval shooting, as mentioned, is here to assist you. It allows you to set exposures of any duration.
And the AsiAir—a wonderful little box!

Thanks for the tips! :) I have a simple remote shutter release, just using the preset exposures on the camera, 30 seconds, then manually.
I’ll check it out, looks like a handy tool!
