I continue testing the new VeraLux scripts from Ricardo for Siril. I recommend everyone try the VeraLux Curves script - an amazing tool.

The VeraLux SyQon script is very interesting, I think that over time and with certain refinements it will replace Starnet.

Also recommended:

HDR-Multiscale — a compression tool: it smooths the brightest peaks (dynamic range) to reveal details hidden in the bright areas, for example, the core of a galaxy.

VeraLux Revela — a local contrast engine: it adds «brightness» and volume to midtones and faint structures (texture), rather than compressing light.

In PixInsight, there's HDR Multiscale, but it doesn't seem to stretch. But it works well. I used it on globular clusters.

Unfortunately, I don't have Pixinsight, but this script works well in Siril.

Konfuz

The background is crimson, there's a green haze around the galaxy, there's no contrast in the galaxy, the core is choked—roughly this needs to be fixed.
