First light of the remarkable Askar SQA 106 mm f/4.8 apochromat refractor. Imaging time was greatly reduced, the sky is conditionally dark even without the moon.
NGC 5981 is an edge-on spiral galaxy, distance about 90 million light-years, diameter 70,000 light-years, apparent size 2.7'x0.3'.
NGC 5982 is a large elliptical galaxy, distance about 130 million light-years, diameter 200,000 light-years, apparent size 3.0'x2.1'.
NGC 5985 is a face-on spiral galaxy, distance about 125 million light-years, apparent size 5.4'x2.7'.
The Draco Triplet is not an unconditionally gravitationally bound group.
