Great shot! Could you tell me which software you used for the stitching and what lens you used?

Sorry. For some reason, that information didn't show up for me. I can see it now. It seems like the stitching didn't go entirely smoothly—there are some "phantom" stars. Probably unavoidable with a lens that has such distortion. I also want to try shooting the Milky Way. I tried with the Samyang 14/2.8, but I'm not satisfied with the result—it has strong chromatic aberration and distorts the stars. Next time, I'll try with the Nikkor 50/1.2. It's supposedly a planar lens and shouldn't distort the field much.

So, the first panorama, as I wrote. I was more than satisfied with the result. I think it's possible with any lens, just need to take more frames with greater overlap.

The picture is fantastic. I'm just very picky about star shapes.
