The shooting was done in the city center from the roof of a 12-story building. I had to stop down the aperture to f/7 with a 300-second exposure. It was a full moon, and I was very surprised that I managed to pull out magnitude 16 after stacking this supernova. The galaxy NGC 5907 (the Knife Edge) turned out to be at the limit for the Samyang 135 under these conditions. The supernova was not visible at all in individual frames; it only appeared faintly after stacking.
