What a neat little ball it turned out to be!
Do you also have your equipment on an EXOS mount? How is the mount, how does it perform? Mine had terrible guiding issues at first. I didn't solve it until I threw out the factory electronics and installed OnStep.
This is more of a "DIY" setup because the EXOS-1 mount doesn't have a mounting point for a DEC axis motor. I bought an OnStep kit for the EXOS-2 and assembled it using plastic zip ties and metal brackets. The tracking is so-so—after all, the original design doesn't have bearings—but it works. It holds for 3–4 minutes.
