On the night of August 25–26, 2026, a new star flared up in the constellation Sagitta, known as Nova Sge 2026 (V488 Sge).
Nova Sagittae 2026 is at the vertex of a right angle between δ (delta) Sagittae (+4.30m) and HIP 97135 (+6.75m)
