Located in the constellation Cetus. Difficult to observe at mid-latitudes of Russia. It is at a distance of about 60 million light-years. Diameter about 170 thousand light-years. Angular size 7.1'x6.0'. One of the brightest Seyfert galaxies visible from Earth.
