Decided to try photographing a deep-sky object with a telescope not quite intended for this purpose, and here's what happened...

The image shows a compact open star cluster in the Orion Nebula, called the "Orion Trapezium". The four central stars that form this very trapezium are actually huge and bright (their mass is 15-30 solar masses).
