Thank you for sharing your photos - this is exactly what this project is all about! :-)
I decided to try photographing a deep-sky object with a telescope not really designed for it, and here's what came out... The image shows a compact open star cluster in the Orion Nebula, called the "Trapezium Cluster." The four central stars that form this trapezium are actually huge and bright (their masses are 15-30 solar masses).
