The setup consists of a Samyang 135 F2 lens and a homemade 2*11 mount, with a ZWO ASI2600DUO camera. The mount uses two size 11 harmonic reducers and two NEMA11 motors with planetary gearboxes, achieving a total reduction of 1000:1. The OnStep controller board is a ready-made unit from Voronezh. The wedge is also ready-made. The mount itself is made of 2.5 parts printed on a 3D printer, plus a piece of aluminum channel. There are also two "shell" parts for the optics and a small ring for the focuser belt. The focuser drive is belt-driven.
Comments
A clutch needs to be added to the RA axis.
Also, the focuser is not very reliable and requires close attention, at least during startup.
