M8 - a giant star-forming region and H II region in the constellation Sagittarius. Under favorable conditions, it is faintly visible to the naked eye.
It is located at a distance of 5200 light-years. Physical size 70x30 light-years. Apparent size 90'x40'.
M20 triple nebula (M 20, NGC 6514)
It is located at a distance of 2000 to 9000 light-years.
Size about 50 light-years.
Apparent size 20 arcminutes.
