A work in progress. I was supposed to shoot for about 6 hours total, but had to pack up early due to fog. Therefore, the object is most likely NGC 2146.

Excellent result! How long did DSS take to stack the images?

I stacked 15 hours of PI frames.

Excellent! How and with what did you record the original frames? What guided your choice of exposure time and gain?

Good day, I didn't see the comment. The shooting was done in ASI Studio, the weather was excellent at 7°C, the matrix was 9-10. I set the gain randomly; I don't set it between 0-100 because DSS doesn't accept frames and doesn't detect stars. The exposure time is like this due to the thick atmosphere; stars in the stack bloated to the size of soccer balls, plus micro-tracking errors at long exposures ruin the details.
