Question: why are there purple spots? I thought it was a color camera issue, and I also noticed such spots from algorithms like Lanczos 3 and 4. When I stack using the bicubic method, there are none.

I can't say what those spots are — I don't see them on the monitor, but they are noticeable on the OLED screen. Maybe the plugin is adjusting the background that way; I've noticed this tendency several times already.
