This is my first time shooting this nebula; the object is truly impressive and it's no accident that it's super popular among astrophotographers.
It is located in the constellation Cassiopeia at a distance of about 7500 light-years. Its physical size is about 200 light-years, and its apparent size is about 150 arcminutes. It consists mainly of hydrogen and dust. At its center is a young cluster of a small group of stars - Melotte 15; these stars have very powerful radiation and a strong stellar wind that blows away gas and forms cavities inside the nebula, and it also traces the outline that so resembles a heart.
